San Francisco police say they found a body inside a vehicle near the city's Pier 94 on Cargo Way on Friday at around 12:26 p.m.

Police and medics responded to the scene and declared the person dead.

"No foul play is suspected, and this incident is now being investigated by the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner," a police spokesperson said.

In June, a 53-year-old man was found dead in an SUV just outside San Francisco’s temporary trailer park for unhoused people near Pier 94 known as “Site F.”

The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed its emergency personnel had also responded to the scene.
