Jiyun Tsai (She/Her) is a multimedia journalist at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism focusing on data and interactive reporting. With a background in sociology, she has been exposed to various social issues and has been trained in qualitative and quantitative research methods. She speaks Mandarin Chinese, Hokkien dialect, English and Korean. Her work has appeared in Oakland North and Oaklandside (in the U.S.), and Storm Media and Public Television Service in Taiwan. In her free time, she likes to pet her friend’s cat Oreo, do some street photography, and travel through cities.
