San Franciscans gathered near Civic Center Plaza Saturday morning and marched up Market Street in a show of support for reproductive rights.
The march, which was co-hosted by Women’s March San Francisco, drew thousands of participants protesting the draft Supreme Court decision that would overturn the pivotal abortion rights case Roe v. Wade.
“Today we marched against the Supreme Court seeking to overturn Roe v. Wade,” Mayor London Breed tweeted. “This is a fight that impacts everyone, and it will take all of us, from states across the country coming together to protect and preserve women’s right to choose.”
