After carrying the Golden State Warriors to victory in Game 4 on the road, Stephen Curry had a rough night Monday, missing all nine of his 3-point attempts at the Chase Center in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Still, the Dubs pulled out a convincing 10-point win for the hometown crowd, as the Wiggins scored 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, helping lead his team to a 104-94 victory.
Even with Curry mostly silent and power forward Draymond Green fouling out by the game’s end, a strong fourth-quarter showing by the Warriors will certainly give the Celtics something to think about when they face their San Francisco rivals on June 16.
Golden State has the chance to end the series at the TD Garden and take their fourth NBA championship in a decade.
