Police Seek Help in Alleged Toddler Abduction

Update: The child has been found safe by Daly City Police, according to SFPD.

San Francisco police are seeking a toddler whom they say was abducted from a residential care facility by his mother late on Friday.

The mother, identified by police as as the suspect, a resident of the facility, allegedly left with her child, 1-year-old Caspian Tamulevich, despite having no custody rights over her son under a court order.

She was last seen leaving the area of Ashbury Street between Hayes and Fell streets at around 5:30 p.m. on March 17.

Police describe the suspect as a 38-year-old white female, 5’6” and 130 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing all-white clothing.

Caspian Tamulevich is described as a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes.

In a statement, the SFPD said that anyone who locates the mother or child should call 911. Anyone with information on their possible whereabouts can call the SFPD Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411.
