Roughly 100 cars blocked the Bay Bridge early Saturday as part of an illegal sideshow, the California Highway Patrol said.

The cars blocked the eastbound lanes on the bridge near the main tower east of Treasure Island at around 1 a.m. Saturday, a CHP spokesperson said in an email.

Cars blocking the bridge had left by the time CHP responded to the incident, and the lanes were cleared by 1:19 a.m., the CHP said.

There were no injuries reported, and no arrests were made.

Video taken of the event and shared on Instagram shows at least three cars doing doughnuts inside the eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge.

Instagram users tagged as those who shot the video did not respond to requests for comment.
