Over 100 San Francisco firefighters contained a three-alarm fire in the Western Addition Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out in a building at 1604 McAllister St., the San Francisco Fire Department said.

Two firefighters have been injured but "will be OK," while one civilian non-serious injury has been reported and one person was rescued, the department said.

The Red Cross has attended to residents of the building affected by the second- and third-floor fire.

So far, 13 tenants have been reported as "displaced," according to the fire department.

Passersby have been urged to avoid the area.
