San Francisco reopens jail annex as inmate population skyrockets

San Francisco is reopening a shuttered jail annex to cope with a recent surge of new inmates.

The Hong Kong-based singer shared his unexpected experiences walking around town.

The agency is trimming service on the 30-Stockton, 14-Mission and other popular routes to accommodate a loss of unvaccinated operators. 

Citing safety concerns, the transit agency hopes to lower speed limits on many more popular corridors citywide. 

Five Muni lines will run different routes, and several streets will be closed Sunday for the race
