A group of organizations hopes to spur transit planners to action before they decide Slow Streets’ fate next week.

In his inaugural speech, the mayor vows to offer accountability, improve street conditions, and provide solutions to fentanyl and homelessness. 

Pro-development factions are warning the mayor that a “too-timid approach” could be politically risky.

The report blames the shortfall on a variety of administrative problems, including low starting salaries.
