A homeless man says he’s spent years cleaning a neglected Bay Area beach. But now, the city of Oakland is forcing him to move.

Outside a San Francisco courthouse Wednesday, city officials and civil rights groups held dueling rallies about the city’s homelessness crisis.

The 103-year-old San Francisco hardware store chain had bet big on the once up-and-coming South of Market neighborhood.

The court will issue its reasons for the verdict in the coming weeks and instruct an appeals court on the issues to examine in a new trial.

San Francisco Supervisor Dean Preston tweeted that the Blue Angels should not be allowed to fly over the city.
