BART may soon ditch the fee—but there’s a catch.

The Treasure Island Ferry had some hiccups in service on its first day, but for those who made it on board, the ride was smooth sailing.

Construction on Market Street means SFMTA must  temporarily take the vintage cars out of service. 

San Franciscans can hitch a Cruise ride in most of San Francisco in “a few weeks,” said Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt. 


Nineteen of the emission-free trains will be ready for Bay Area riders in fall 2024.
