New LGBTQ+ bar aims to revive downtown Oakland nightlife

Fluid510, a new bar and nightlife space in Oakland, wants to be a hip gathering place that is welcoming to everyone in the community.

The program is one of several efforts to bring back conventions and tourism to San Francisco’s deserted downtown core. 

The pop singer is one of several A-list celebrities and artists to make an appearance at the tech conference this week.
