Rosalie Tapavalu
Rosalie Tapavalu is The Standard's editorial assistant. She previously was the business and legal affairs coordinator for ITVS, a production financier funding documentaries for public media. Before that, Rosalie worked in various positions for Stanford University, ultimately ending up in college admissions for the University of Texas Austin. No matter where she worked, Rosalie remained a Cal Bears fan, having earned her bachelor's in sociology at the University of California Berkeley after transferring from De Anza College. Rosalie was born in New Zealand and spent her childhood in Australia and her adolescence in Gilbert, Arizona. The Bay Area has been her home for the last decade.
