Tomoki Chien is a news intern at The Standard. He’s an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, and the founder of a nonprofit news outlet called College Brief. He previously covered labor and led the photo section at USC’s campus newspaper, the Daily Trojan. In his spare time, Tomo enjoys finding new ways to injure himself in the outdoors—by bike, foot, board and any other means of locomotion.
