Michael Menesini used his city email to message the publication CounterPunch about several of its stories on Israel and Palestine.

In light of Israel banning public displays of the Palestinian flag, artist Chris Gazaleh simply felt it was time, and the building’s owner agreed.

The resolution, which calls for a cease-fire and a return of hostages, has already sparked debate. 

The artist has come under fire for her vocal support of Palestine.

The postcards’ messages carry ties to an antisemitic group whose leader formerly resided in the Bay Area.
