Three college students were killed last year when their vehicle struck a tree.

The shooting at roughly 3 a.m. Monday activated “Shot Spotter” cameras, which detect loud noises and flag them to police as possible shootings. 

San Francisco police are treating a fatal stabbing in the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Tuesday night as a homicide. 

All four people were able to extricate themselves from the car, before they were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
