Person found stabbed to death in the Tenderloin

Police responding to reports of someone down on Ellis Street between Leavenworth and Hyde streets found the unidentified victim with stab wounds.

Fentanyl, meth and heroin were among the drugs found. 

San Francisco police are treating a fatal stabbing in the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Tuesday night as a homicide. 

A light agenda likely means extra discussion on Dean Preston’s call to keep the controversial Tenderloin Center open. 


At over eight hours, the Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday touched the bases, including the emergency response to the Tenderloin.
