DA: Dolores Park chase was a hate crime

This marks the second time in a month that prosecutors filed a hate crime charge over something that happened at Dolores Park.

Jonathan Espiritu, 49, was charged Monday with multiple felonies for allegedly attacking a woman after she tried to break up with him. 

The charges relate to a stabbing at the Windsor, a single-room occupancy hotel on Eddy Street in the Tenderloin.
