Body pulled from San Francisco Bay near Treasure Island, police say

Officers responded to reports of the deceased body in the bay just before 1 p.m. Friday.

A 30-year-old man was arrested by police last week in connection with the beating of a Haight-Ashbury business owner.

The 21-year-old mom has been under investigation for a month.

When officers arrived, they arrested the suspect and found three victims with various injuries who were treated by paramedics.
