Body pulled from San Francisco Bay near Treasure Island, police say

San Francisco police and firefighters recovered a body Friday afternoon from the San Francisco Bay, according to authorities.

Officers initially responded around 12:49 p.m. to Clipper Cove Way on Treasure Island after a report of a body floating in Clipper Cove was made to police.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene after being pulled from the water by firefighters. No further details have been released.
