A Ferris wheel on Fisherman’s Wharf? San Francisco wants to make it happen

Plans to relocate the ride to Fisherman’s Wharf for the APEC summit were discussed at the city’s Port Commission meeting.

The California Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies are sending officers to San Francisco to help staff the summit of world leaders.

Parking lots may fill up, and the APEC summit in San Francisco could cause traffic congestion near SFO. 

Building on the momentum of the moon festival, the two-night event is meant to show the city off to international visitors ahead of APEC.
