Elon Musk apologizes for mocking laid-off Twitter employee

After nine days of no answer from Twitter as to whether or not he still had a job, an employee tweeted at its CEO for an answer.

Ahead of a widely publicized trial, the billionaire CEO has agreed to buy Twitter at his original offer price of $54.20 per share. 

A hackathon founded by two ambitious coders was meant to start a civic movement among young tech workers. Now they work at DOGE. 

The billionaire shared a memo meant to calm down skittish advertisers by pledging the site won’t become ‘a free-for-all hellscape.’


Musk said he’s hired a new Twitter CEO, who will be starting in about six weeks. He indicated the new chief executive is a woman.
