The mountains were due to open this weekend.



Mother Nature is cooperating with snowmaking efforts to deliver an early start to the Sierra ski season.

The rain was pouring, thunder had kept me up most of the night and all signs pointed to going back to bed. 


Multiple feet of powder but no way to get to it leaves locals and visitors fuming over mountain operations.
