As summer continues to sizzle, San Francisco will offer free afternoon admission at many of its neighborhood pools Tuesday and Wednesday.
Temperatures have continued to soar across the city and Bay Area, with a Flex alert remaining in place to combat power outages.
More than 20,000 Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) customers experienced heat-related outages on Monday, and the state’s power grid operator extended an emergency notification through Tuesday in anticipation of high energy use.
But to help you stay cool, the city’s recreation and park department has released the following free family swim hours and locations:
Tuesday:
Balboa 2:30-4 p.m.
Coffman 3-4:30 p.m.
MLK 4-5:30 p.m.
Sava 2:30-5 p.m.
Rossi 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Mission 2:30-3:45 p.m.
North Beach 2:15-3:15 p.m.
Wednesday:
Balboa 3:30-5 p.m.
Garfield 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-5 p.m.
MLK 4-5:30 p.m.
Rossi-2:3:30 p.m.
Mission 2:30-3:45 p.m.
