A purported news website that publishes hundreds of articles per day has targeted a San Francisco Supervisor.

Critics argue that the city ignored the state's authority and unlawfully placed the measure before San Francisco voters.

Carmignani became the focus of a national media spotlight after a metal pipe beating on April 5 in the up-scale Marina District.

Video from the scene showed over a dozen San Francisco police and fire vehicles parked near 24th and Harrison streets.
