A proposal to do just that has passed the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee unanimously.

The suspect, as 21-year-old Antonio Malik Rodgers-Alcala of Daly City, was located around 1:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Schwerin Street in Daly City.

Answers involve treating people with kindness, asking about immediate needs as necessary and educating yourself on long-term solutions.

San Francisco police arrested a 43-year-old man Monday on suspicion of an attempted murder hit-and-run after a carjacking.  

Authorities say he pulled the trigger in a fatal shooting 10 months ago in San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunters Point.
