An arrest came without any injuries after a multi-hour effort by hostage negotiations team members, police said.

San Francisco police say a stabbing victim died in a hospital after he crashed into a Walgreens a block from a trauma center.

The city’s police chief led a virtual town hall to discuss the shooting, which took place on Aug. 28 in the Tenderloin.

Police say they shot a man who walked up while they were trying to arrest someone else at Fairfax Avenue and Catalina Street.

All of the suspects face firearm-related charges for alleged crimes in San Francisco and other Bay Area cities.
