Two 27-year-olds will spend their lives behind bars for killing Ed French in 2017. 

The San Francisco Department of Elections released a new tranche of ballot results Sunday afternoon, bringing the total counted ballots to 80%.

The charges stem from a state-funded retail theft prosecution program through the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. 

Witnesses told officers that a group of teenagers entered the store and stole a ‘large amount of merchandise’ before fleeing, police said.

The man, who allegedly killed one passenger and injured another aboard a Muni bus, could face 50 years to life.
