Watchdog group The Midas Project is the latest to receive a subpoena in the AI giant’s legal fight against those opposed to its restructuring.

Stanford-trained researcher Xuechen Li is accused of “willfully and maliciously” stealing xAI documents after accepting a job offer with OpenAI. 

The chain “admits no wrongdoing” as part of the settlement, a company spokesperson said.
