Musk says he’ll quit as Twitter CEO once he finds a successor

The billionaire businessman said he’ll heed Twitter users who said in his own poll that he should step down.

Elon Musk said he’ll step down as Twitter CEO once he finds a replacement.

In a tweet Tuesday night, the billionaire businessman said he’ll resign “as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!”

But he still plans to “run the software & servers teams” at the social media company, Musk added.

Musk’s announcement comes more than a day after a majority of Twitter users in his own poll said he should step down from his brief, chaotic tenure at the company’s helm.
