1. Chinese New Year Flower Market Fair

2. San Francisco Tape Music Festival
Though you can probably expect to hear some traditional instruments at the San Francisco Tape Festival, that’s about the most you should anticipate from the music at this unconventional event. The event, which says it presents audio works in a three-dimensional way, features artists who push the boundaries of sound. Forty-six local and international composers will gather for four scheduled concerts throughout the weekend.
3. Mellow Sessions
By day, The Mellow’s Haight location is a houseplant haven with an accompanying coffee bar, but after hours, dimmed lights and luscious foliage transition the space into a perfectly ambient setting for live music. Mellow Sessions is an intimate way for locals to hear Bay Area music and converse with artists and attendees alike.
