Free reservations for the first show of the 2023 Stern Grove Festival will be available beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Grammy-winning jazz fusion crew Snarky Puppy—featuring almost two dozen musicians—will be joined by soul guitar virtuoso Isaiah Sharkey to kick off the 86th annual festival on June 18.
In recent years, the festival has been offering a first-come, first-served online reservation system that typically runs out of spots in mere minutes, so ride-or-die fans are advised to set their alarms.
Reservations will be made available one month prior to each weekly concert, meaning that the next batch of tickets—for Indigo Girls with Neko Case—will go live on May 25.
Self-identifying as the oldest outdoor music festival in the Bay Area, Stern Grove hosted more than 70,000 attendees last year in its namesake woods at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in the Sunset District.
