Suspects involved in an armed robbery also robbed Gucci's flagship store in San Francisco's Union Square high-end shopping district Monday, police said in a statement on Tuesday.
Officers in the square received word of a theft at the Gucci store on Stockton Street at 3:39 p.m.
After officers learned a suspect vehicle had been involved in a prior armed robbery, other officers found and pursued the vehicle but lost it on the Peninsula. There have been no arrests or suspect details released.
Before the Gucci store's opening Tuesday morning, workers could be seen polishing shelves. Shortly after it opened, The Standard visited the store and was asked to leave by the manager, who declined to comment on the robbery.
