Aside from the dozens of street closures across the northern half of the city, Muni service will also be impacted by the San Francisco Marathon on Sunday.
The marathon begins at Mission Street and the Embarcadero at 5:30 a.m. and will wind through several neighborhoods throughout the city and over the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County. The race ends at Embarcadero Plaza at 12:30 p.m.
As a consequence, many Muni stops will be unavailable and a number of stops will be relocated, forcing reroutes.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency warned riders to expect delays throughout the city and advised riders to sign up for Muni service alerts via email or text by signing up through its email and text subscriptions page.

Temporary Muni Service Changes
N-Owl Bus Reroute: 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Inbound to Caltrain, the N Owl will run from Steuart and Mission streets via Mission Street, Beale Street, Bryant Street and the Embarcadero to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
Outbound to Ocean Beach, the N Owl will run from the Embarcadero and Bryant Street via Bryant, Beale, Folsom, Main, Mission, Steuart and Market streets to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
N-Bus West Side Reroute: 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Inbound to Caltrain, the N Bus will run from Irving and Arguello Boulevard via Arguello Boulevard, Lincoln Way, Kezar Drive to John F. Kennedy Drive, Oak Street, Gough Street and Market Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
- Along Oak Street at Masonic Avenue, Divisadero Street and Fillmore Street
Outbound to Ocean Beach, the N Bus will run from Market and Haight streets via Haight Street, Octavia Street, Fell Street, John F. Kennedy Drive to Kezar Drive, Lincoln Way, 7th Avenue, Irving Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
- On Fell Street at Fillmore Street, Divisadero Street and Masonic Avenue
N-Bus Downtown Reroute: 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Outbound to Ocean Beach, the N Bus will run from King and Third streets, left on Third Street, right on Mission Street, left on Steuart Street, left on Market Street and on to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
F-Market & Wharves: Switchback Service Starts at 10 a.m.
Inbound to Fisherman’s Wharf, the F-Line will begin at the Embarcadero and Don Chee Way.
Outbound to the Castro, the F-Line will run its regular route from Steuart and Market streets.
- The F-Line will not run along the Embarcadero.
6-Haight/Parnassus: Service Starts at 12 p.m.
Inbound to Downtown, the 6 Haight/Parnassus will switchback at Masonic Avenue and Waller Street via Waller, Ashbury and Frederick streets to its regular outbound route.
- There will be no stops in both directions between Haight Street and Masonic Avenue and Steuart Street and Don Chee Way.
- There will be no continuous service to and from Downtown.
7-Haight/Noriega: Service Starts at 12 p.m.
Inbound to Downtown, the 7 Haight-Noriega bus will run from Lincoln Way and Kezar Drive via Kezar Drive, John F. Kennedy Drive, Oak Street, Gough Street and Market Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
- On Oak Street at Masonic Avenue, Divisadero Street and Fillmore Street.
Outbound to Ocean Beach, the 7 Haight-Noriega bus will run from Market and Haight street via Haight Street, Octavia Boulevard, Fell Street to John F. Kennedy Drive, Kezar Drive, Lincoln Way to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:

12-Folsom/Pacific: Reroute 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Outbound to the Mission, the 12 Folsom/Pacific bus will run from Spear and Mission streets via Mission, Beale and Folsom streets to its regular route. Alternate stop locations:
15-Bayview Hunters Point Express: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Inbound to Downtown, the 18-Bayview bus will run along Third and 20th streets, down 20th Street, along Pennsylvania Street, back to 18th Street and then on Third Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
Outbound to Bayview and Hunters Point, the 18 Bayview bus will run from Third and 18th streets, right on 18th Street, left on Pennsylvania Street, left on 20th Street, right on Third Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
22 Fillmore: Reroute 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Inbound to the Marina, the 22-Fillmore bus will run from 16th and 7th streets via 7th Street, Townsend Street, Division Street, 11th Street, Folsom Street, 17th Street and Church Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:

Inbound to Pacific Heights, the 24 Divisadero bus will run from Castro Street and Duboce Avenue via Duboce Avenue, Steiner Street, Page Street and Divisadero Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
Outbound to Bayview, the 24 Divisadero bus will run from Divisadero and Fell Street via Fell Street, Steiner Street, Duboce Avenue and Castro Street to the regular route. Alternate stop locations:
29 Sunset: Reroute 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Inbound to the Presidio, the 29-Sunset bus will run from 25th Avenue and California Street via California Street, 24th Street, Lake Street and 25th Avenue to the temporary terminal.
30 Stockton: Service Starts at 10 a.m.
Inbound to Caltrain, the 30-Stockton bus will run its regular route from the temporary terminal at Divisadero and Beach streets. Alternate stop location:
Outbound to the Presidio, the 30-Stockton bus will run from Chestnut and Broderick streets via Broderick Street, Jefferson Street and Divisadero Street to the temporary terminal at Divisadero and Beach streets.
33 Ashbury/18th Haight-Area Reroute: 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Inbound to the Inner Richmond, the 33-Ashbury/18th bus will run from Ashbury and Waller Streets via Waller Street, Stanyan Street, Frederick Street, continue to Lincoln Way, Kezar Drive, John F. Kennedy Drive, Stanyan Street and then return to its regular route. Alternate stop locations:
Outbound to San Francisco General Hospital, the 33-Ashbury/18th bus will run from Stanyan Street and John F. Kennedy Drive via John F.
