A Tesla and a big rig truck crash added to slow rainy morning commute conditions on the Bay Bridge out of San Francisco Wednesday.
Around 8 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of the collision in the eastbound Interstate 80 lanes just west of the Treasure Island off-ramp.
When officers arrived, they found a white Honda, a black Tesla and the big rig truck blocking two of the lanes.
San Francisco firefighters also responded, aiding at least one person who suffered minor injuries.
The CHP issued an alert advising drivers to avoid the area or budget extra time for their commute and cleared all lanes by 8:50 a.m.
Traffic appeared to be flowing normally on the bridge by 10 a.m.
