Nineties alternative rock giants the Smashing Pumpkins will play a super-intimate concert as part of the 10th annual BottleRock Napa Valley music festival this May.
Billy Corgan and co. are no strangers to selling out massive amphitheaters, but on May 26 the celebrated group is slated to headline the JaM Cellars Ballroom, a 650+ capacity venue, in Napa as part of the BottleRock After Dark concert series—a run of individual performances connected to the festival.
Also on deck for the After Dark series: Phantogram at the UC Theatre in Berkeley; Meute at the Fillmore in San Francisco; Yung Gravy at August Hall in San Francisco; and two more chances to see beloved acts at smaller local venues—Lucius at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park (500 capacity) and Thievery Corporation at the Uptown in Napa (863 capacity).
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Duran Duran and the Smashing Pumpkins are all topping the bill at this summer’s festival, which pops off Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-28, at the Napa Valley Expo fairgrounds.
