The San Francisco mother who initially pleaded not guilty to killing her two children in December has allegedly confessed to their murders.
When the children’s father arrived at his house on Dec. 23, he knocked on the door and windows for 15 minutes before the childrens’ mother, Paulesha Green-Pulliam, let him in, according to police documents obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle.
The father was surprised that their daughters didn’t greet him at the door.
“Uh, they gone,” Green-Pulliam said to their father when he asked where their daughters were and tried to prevent him from looking for them.
The children’s father and later San Francisco police officers found the bodies of the 1-year-old and 5-year-old in a walk-in closet in the Bayview home. They were cold and unresponsive, and the younger daughter’s mouth was leaking a “white, foamy substance.”
The children were pronounced dead at the scene, but the San Francisco Police Department has not yet released their official causes of death.
Green-Pulliam was arraigned last week and is currently being held without bail. If the court finds her guilty, she faces life without parole.
The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office could not be immediately reached for comment.
