A project that would build more than 800 homes and be the second-tallest building in San Francisco has been put on hold.

While a controversial 50-story skyscraper has dominated headlines in the Sunset, a cluster of new homes are coming next to Ocean Beach. 

The SF Planning Commission is reviewing plans for an 11-story tower that would replace a parking lot and bring over 180 homes.

Fisher Island replaces the tony Silicon Valley town as the nation’s most expensive place to buy a home.

The California Highway Patrol recommends staying home if possible.
