Winds up to 50 mph expected Tuesday for all but North Bay

A wind advisory from the National Weather Service is in effect from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Surfers are taking full advantage of rare conditions that produced picturesque waves doubling the size of the average human on Thursday morning.  

A video posted to Twitter captures the moment a roller suitcase, propelled by high winds, races down an SFO tarmac unattended.

If you’re hitting the roads this weekend, watch out for flooded streets and falling branches. 

The National Weather Service warned residents that Sunday is not a good day to be on the roads due to flooding risks.
