High winds caused a large tree to fall on Tuesday afternoon, blocking the three right lanes of Interstate 80 westbound on the Bay Bridge and slowing traffic.
The fallen tree is just before where westbound drivers enter the Treasure Island Tunnel. Two vehicles may have been damaged by the tree according to CHP traffic info.
The lane closures have added an estimated 36 minutes onto commutes as of 3:47 p.m., per Google Maps.
