Glass is falling from another San Francisco high-rise just days after a prior incident.

According to social media footage and a tweet from Supervisor Aaron Peskin, glass was seen falling from the 21st floor of 50 California St. on Tuesday just after 3 p.m.

People are currently being directed away from the area on Sacramento and Davis streets, according to social media footage.

Glass fell from 555 California St. on March 14, causing road closures and the enactment of shelter-in-place orders.

The fire department said it responded at 12:57 p.m. to 50 California St. for a report of a broken window from the 21st floor.

"This was an isolated incident with no injuries and we have since cleared the scene. This most likely is weather related," the fire department wrote on Twitter.

A 37-story office tower formerly known as the Union Bank Building, 50 California St. is owned and managed by Shorenstein Properties. The company was contacted for comment.

On March 16, city officials told The Standard that the most recent window breakages were not reflective of the overall state of Downtown San Francisco buildings, and that no new window retrofit plan would be put in place, as an inspection program already exists.

Local weather advisories for strong winds are in already in effect.

The building inspection department was contacted for comment.
