People take advantage of the warm weather at San Francisco's Crissy Field on June 10, 2022.

The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area calls for much warmer conditions Wednesday under sunny skies.

Daytime highs are expected in the 70s on the coast, in the 80s around the Bay and in the upper 80s and low 90s in the interior areas of the East Bay and North Bay. Overnight lows are expected in the high 50s and low 60s.

The peak of this robust warming trend will be Wednesday, with temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above average. Much cooler and unsettled weather conditions return by late week and into the upcoming weekend.
