The hugely popular international club night Boiler Room—producer of the BoilerRoom.tv (opens in new tab) livestream series—is coming to San Francisco for a month-long residency this October.
In what is bound to be a hotly anticipated run of shows, it was announced on the official Boiler Room Instagram account (opens in new tab) yesterday, Aug. 11, the residency will take place at two local clubs and in partnership with SF party-starters Fake and Gay (opens in new tab).
The series kicks off on Oct. 1 at Space 550 in Bernal Heights with Annika Wolfe (opens in new tab), Bae Bae (opens in new tab) and Divoli S’vere (opens in new tab), among other performers.
The Oct. 8 show, at Club Six in SoMa, will feature Adam Kraft (opens in new tab), Joey Labeija (opens in new tab) and New Nostalgia: (opens in new tab) Aakash (opens in new tab).
The week after that, on Oct. 15, 99% Lean (opens in new tab), Chulita Vinyl Club (opens in new tab), Fiera Ferar (opens in new tab) and Juanny Depp (opens in new tab) will spin at Space 550. The series ends on Oct. 22 at Club Six, with Adam Kraft, DJ Chaotic Ugly (opens in new tab) and Kingdom (opens in new tab).
Born to Rave (opens in new tab) and Squish SF (opens in new tab) are helping organize the residency, which also features local artists Nonsuit (opens in new tab), Likeholywine (opens in new tab), Adam Kraft (opens in new tab), Chulita Vinyl Club (opens in new tab) and Bluuyo (opens in new tab).
The London-based Boiler Room has been throwing underground parties with exclusive guest lists and livestreaming them since 2010. The organization has built an archive of almost 8,000 performances from over 5,000 artists in 200 different cities.
