Traffic Chaos as Massive Tree Blocks Busy San Francisco Street

A massive tree has fallen down near the Central Freeway in the SoMa area. 

The busy route along Division Street is blocked westbound by the huge tree branch. 

Buses on route 9 and 9R are being diverted via Brannan to Harrison and 11th Street, according to SFMTA text alerts.

Traffic is currently almost at a standstill as of 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.
