San Francisco police investigate fatal shooting in Visitacion Valley, victim ID’d

San Francisco police are investigating a deadly shooting in one of the city's southeastern neighborhoods late Thursday, according to official information.

Police responded to a 911 call from the shooting victim at around 9:43 p.m. at Kelloch Street in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood where the. There, the officers found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries and later pronounced dead.

The San Francisco Police Department's homicide unit is investigating.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified Relondo Bell, 22, of San Francisco as the victim in the shooting and notified his next of kin.
