A vehicle smashed into a San Francisco CVS store near Twin Peaks early Thursday morning in an attempted robbery, police and store employees told The Standard.

A CVS employee for the store on Portola Drive, who was not authorized to speak to the press, said the burglars shattered the store's front door and broke an ATM but failed to steal anything. The employee added that store operations were not disrupted.
