A woman died after falling from a building at a Fleet Week Blue Angels viewing party in San Francisco on Saturday, her ex-husband and friends confirmed on Tuesday.

The San Francisco Chief Medical Examiner's Office identified her on Tuesday as Patricia Hamon, 51, of San Francisco. She was known to her friends as Tricia O'Connor. Public records show that O'Connor was her maiden name.

"On behalf of the family and friends of Tricia O'Connor, I am sad to announce that Tricia suffered a fatal accident at a Blue Angels party on Saturday," wrote Alix Rosenthal in a public Facebook post. "We are still working on plans for a memorial, and will announce details as soon as we have them. Trishie was a bright light in our community, her passing is an unspeakable loss for all of us. Please seek support from one another as we grieve together."

Hamon's ex-husband, Clark Hamon, told The Standard he had been informed she had tripped while at a Fleet Week party and tragically fell to her death.

Hamon's family could not be reached for comment by publication time.

Over 100 tributes from Facebook users poured into the post's comments section, with many commenting that Hamon was a beautiful person with an excellent sense of humor.

Officers responded at 4:04 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person falling off a building on Van Ness Avenue between Chestnut and Francisco streets in Russian Hill. When officers arrived, they found Hamon suffering from injuries, San Francisco police said.

Despite life-saving measures, paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene, according to officials.

According to police, investigators from the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office also responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
