1 Dead After Double Stabbing in San Francisco

One man has died after a double stabbing in San Francisco, police said Monday.

Officers with the department's Bayview Station responded around 4:13 p.m. Sunday to reports of the first stabbing at Bayshore Boulevard and Cortland Avenue and found two males suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Both victims, who suffered life-threatening injuries, were rushed to a hospital. One was later pronounced dead. No identity was immediately available Monday from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police said a suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, and no arrests were made.
