Protestors for a cease-fire in Gaza, freedom in Tibet and climate action filled the streets around the APEC Summit.

Protesters gathered Wednesday around the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Downtown San Francisco, where many blocked traffic, impeded access for participants and made pleas for a cease-fire in Gaza, freedom for Tibet and demands for action on the climate.

The Standard’s team of photographers captured moments, ranging from intense confrontations between the protestors and conventiongoers to police inserting themselves to keep the peace.
