Budget airline Lynx Air will launch nonstop services between San Francisco, Toronto and Boston in spring 2024, the Canadian company said Wednesday.
The Calgary-based airline said Wednesday it will slash up to 25% off base fares on all U.S.-Canada routes. Visitors to FlyLynx.com can use the promotional code LYNXUSA before 11:59 p.m. ET Thursday to book discounted tickets.
The airline will offer $159 one-way flights between SFO and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) starting on May 3, 2024, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Those flights will be scheduled daily starting June 11.
Lynx Air is also selling $129 one-way tickets between Toronto and Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) with flights starting March 28, 2024, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Those flights will increase to six days a week—all days, except Saturdays—beginning April 22.
“Adding Boston and San Francisco to our ever-expanding network is a significant milestone for our airline,” Lynx Chief Commercial Officer Vijay Bathija said, calling its flights “an ultra-affordable link.”
“Our strategy is to fly to destinations where airfares are historically high, and low-cost options are limited,” Bathija added. “By offering ultra-affordable fares, we aim to inspire more Canadians to travel to see their favorite people and places.”
“This new service offers San Francisco Bay Area travelers an exciting new way to visit Canada with exceptional value,” San Francisco International Airport Director Ivar C. Satero said. “We look forward to sharing our world-class airport experience with Lynx customers and are confident this new service will be a success.”
